Anyone with text messaging capabilities on their mobile phone can use Mann Theatres text service. Simply text the keyword MANN and a zip code to 43KIX (43549) and a choice of three movie theatres within a 50-mile radius will be brought up. After selecting a theatre, the consumer is presented with a list of all available movies. Replying with the film’s code letter
(a-z) gives the consumer that movie’s show times. No special software or downloads are required -- the service works on any wireless carrier and on any mobile phone that supports text messaging.
Mann Theatres and 43KIX will not charge consumers to use this service.
