Stuart Little 2
2002
Village and Bruin Theatres, Westwood
Stuart Little and a reluctant friend Snowbell must save a
new friend, a bird named Margalo, from a villainous falcon
in this new animated adventure. To quote director Rob Minkoff,
"the Littles don't see a mouse when they look at Stuart,
they see a smart, kind creature who is also a bit lonely."
Voices for the animated cast are Michael J. Fox (the voice
of Stuart), Nathan Lane (the voice of Snowbell), Melanie Griffith
and Christopher Walken. Geena Davis, Jonathan Lipnicki and
Hugh Laurie again portray Stuart's family.
The premiere was preceded by a street carnival and was also
a benefit for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and Cures
Now which promotes regenerative medicine research. Supporting
the need for this research were a number of film personalities,
including Michael J. Fox and Nancy Reagan, speaking on behalf
of their own family situations.
