Billy Crystal is a publicist who is hyping a troubled film starring a couple who are on the verge of divorcing, (Gwen) Catherine Zeta-Jones and (Eddie) John Cusack. The director, Christopher Walken, has taken the film hostage leaving the publicist with only the two bickering stars to show to the press. The plot thickens! Eddie falls in love with Gwen's personal assistant Kiki, Julia Roberts.

On hand for the fun on screen and a lavish after-party were the stars plus co-stars Hank Azaria and Seth Green, Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd, Kirk Douglas, Rob Reiner, Adam Sandler, Eddie Van Halen and director Joe Roth.
